Adding youtube content with AI

I used to binge tutorial videos and take random notes. Fun, but messy. One weekend I pulled the best parts into a simple plan, made a checklist, recorded short screen walks, and put it on a sales page. People bought because it felt like a clear path, not a pile of links.

What this is

Use AI to pull the useful parts from YouTube videos, then shape them into a short, outcome based course. Add worksheets, a tiny quiz, and a clean sales page. Keep it simple and focused.

Why it works

Viewers binge. Students buy structure. If you give people a start, a middle, a finish, and a small win at each step, they will pay for the shortcut.

A concrete example you can copy

Topic: Short form ad system for solo creators
Promise: Launch 5 ad ready shorts in 48 hours
Modules: 5 lessons, each 12 to 18 minutes

  1. Hook formulas with examples

  2. Script beats and CTAs

  3. Filming with a phone and basic lighting

  4. Editing workflow

  5. Publishing and a tracking sheet
Price: 39 dollars at launch, then 79 dollars evergreen
Goal: 100 sales each month for 3,900 to 7,900 dollars in extra revenue

How to build it this weekend

Step 1. Pick one result
Say it in one breath.
“In 48 hours you will publish 5 ad ready shorts using only a phone.”

Step 2. Transcribe and harvest
Grab 3 to 7 good videos you own or can legally use.
Use YouTube captions, Descript, or Whisper to get text.
Paste all text into one document.

Step 3. Shape the course with AI
Paste the transcript bundle into ChatGPT with this prompt:
“From this text, build a 5 module course that gets [result] in [time]. For each module give a title, 3 to 5 lesson titles, one learning goal, one hands on exercise, and a single page worksheet checklist.”

Step 4. Write lessons and worksheets
For each lesson, use:
“Write Lesson [title] in about 300 words. Include context, 3 steps, one example, and a mini task. End with a Ship It checklist with 5 boxes.”
Then create the worksheet:
“Turn this lesson into a one page printable checklist. Add a Common mistakes box with 5 items, and a Definition box with key terms in under 60 words.”

Step 5. Add a quick quiz
“Create 5 multiple choice questions for Module [n], 4 options each, one correct answer, and a one line explanation.”

Step 6. Record short screens and intros
Use Tella or Loom. Keep each video tight and clear. One task per lesson.

Step 7. Package and sell
Fast path is Gumroad. Full LMS path is Kajabi.
Upload videos and PDFs.
If you use Gumroad, link quizzes in Typeform or Google Forms.
Sales page sections: promise, who it is for or not for, curriculum, 2 sample lessons, simple guarantee, clear buy button.

Copy and paste prompts

Course skeleton from transcripts
“Here is my transcript bundle: [paste]. Build a 5 module course to achieve [outcome] in [timeframe]. For each module return: title, 3 to 5 lesson titles, one learning goal, one hands on exercise, and worksheet checklist bullets.”

Lesson writer
“Draft Lesson [title] in about 300 words with 3 steps, one example, and a mini task. End with a Ship It checklist with 5 bullets.”

“Turn the lesson into a one page printable checklist with boxes, a Common mistakes list with 5 items, and a Definition box with key terms under 60 words.”

Quiz pack
“Create 5 MCQs for Module [n] with 4 options, mark the correct one, and add a one line explanation. Return as simple JSON for import.”
